Every one at Benvenuto Brunello was sad to learn of the expiration of Barolo producer Teobaldo Cappellano. Like us at Il Poggione, who believe that Brunello di Montalcino should be made with 100% Sangiovese, he was always working to protect that Barolo was made from 100% Nebbiolo.
Rest in peace, Teobaldo. You will be missed by all of us in the Italy wine community. Requiescat in pace.
