Harvest Report 2011: Low Voltage Electrified Fence to Protect the Grapes

Electrified fence

When the grapes begin to ripen, the boar and roedeer began to go to eat it and they cause a lot of damange. To compensate for these problems in the vineyards closest to the woods, we activate a low-voltage electrical fence that keeps the animals away when they touch the electrified wires. This is the least cruel system for protecting the grapes.
