A story on NPR about adulterated olive oil in the U.S.


A friend forwarded me this link to an interesting story on National Public Radio about adulterated extra-virgin olive oil and what the State of Connecticut is doing to combat fraud in food products.

Adulteration in olive oil is a big problem in Europe. At Il Poggione, our olive oil is made from 100% estate-grown olives pressed in our “frantoio” or olive press in the winery.
