Over the past week we have had above average temperatures, reaching 30°C (86°F). Fortunately, during the night, the temperatures have dropped quickly with lows around 12-14°C (53-56°F). This weather, along with the humidity present in the soil, allowed the vines to grow remarkably well as you can see from the photo.
Bad weather is forecasted for this weekend, with drops in temperatures and a lot of rain. At this time of year, rain does not create any problems for the vines. Instead, it helps maintain a reserve of water in the soil that is helpful in the drier summer months.
