The scirocco wind brings high temperatures and also abundant rain, which, in these days, had also struck our zone, although marginally and in light amounts.
The Orcia river, which runs on the edge of our lands, as you can see in the photo, was impetuous and with a high level of water. But fortunately, it did not bring any damages.
Today, it seems that the bad weather has finished and the sun has begun shining again.
The temperatures continue to be higher than the average, even though on Mt. Amiata it has snowed. But this snow does not manage to lower the temperatures if the wind does not change and if, in place of the scirocco, the north wind does not begin to blow.
