Vintage 2010 Brunello: Paganelli cru vineyard

Our friend the wine writer Jeremy Parzen has visited us this week and has shared this photo of the Paganelli vineyard, which he clicked at 7 a.m. yesterday when he toured the estate with my father Fabrizio Bindocci.

The Paganelli vineyard is the oldest on Il Poggione estate and was planted in the 1960s. It is used to make our Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Paganelli and we also use it as a source for new vines.

We continue to expect an excellent harvest at Il Poggione: the days are warm and the night are cool.
