Weather Update: The Worst Has Passed

Tuscan vineyards

17 February 2012

In the last days, the temperatures have arisen and in the warm hours of the day, we have arrived at +10° C. while in the night here in Sant'Angelo in Colle, the temperature has maintained itself at around 0° C.

This has caused the greater part of the snow to melt and all of the water has entered into the soils which were in need of it.

Other snowfalls are not foreseen although it may rain on Sunday.

The worst has passed without damaging our estate.

Monday we will begin again to work in the vineyards.
