Some Rainfall In Montalcino As We Wait For Grapes To Ripen

On Saturday and Sunday the storm that has interested Tuscany has only marginally brushed up against Montalcino, dumping only 16 millimeters of rain.

As far as the Sangiovese is concerned, after having picked for a couple of days, we have stopped because we are waiting that the grapes ripen fully, in such a way as to have the maximum extraction of the anthocyanins.
