Veraison In Delay Of 12-15 Days But Not A Serious Problem

Veraison
Last week we have begun to find the first berries undergoing veraison (the onset of ripening).

But with respect to the average, we are surely in delay of 12-15 days.

This, however, is not serious.

As I have already said, we will return to the vineyard to harvest in October.

The important thing would be that the weather returned to being fair and that the sun shined as it did last week for the whole month of August.

We must not forget that we are in the summer and therefore, it is normal to have warm, sunny days.
