Ideal Climate For The Vines, Excellent Vintage Predicted

Montalcino harvest 2013
The weather disturbance that has struck the North of Italy has not brought, to Montalcino, the rain but only a lowering of the temperatures.

In these days, indeed, the maximum temperatures arrive at 30° C. with the minimum, which in the coolest hours of the night, descend to 18° C.

It is the ideal climate for the vines.

The meteorogical forecasts say that it will go as this for another 10-15 days.

Speaking also with colleagues who have vineyards in Maremma, they tell me that they are extremely satisfied and they, too, like us, are convinced that if the weather will continue to love us, it will be an excellent vintage.
