Harvest Going Well, One More Week To Go, Excellent Vintage Likely

Best sangiovese grapes tuscany
Yesterday, when we awoke, there was a strong north wind, a cold wind that lowered the minimum temperature to 12° C. but that maintains dry the grapes and the vines, thus avoiding the problems of rot on the bunches.

The Sangiovese harvest that will be come our Brunello continues and today we will finish picking the central zone of our estate.

Today we go down and begin to pick the grapes from the Paganelli vineyard (our top growing site), which, on the bases of the analytical data and our tastings, have become fully ripe.

One more week of work and our predictions of an excellent 2013 vintage will come true, as soon as all the grapes have been harvested and fermentation has begun.
