The vines planted in January 2011 have been grafted in August utilizing clones of Sangiovese taken from the old vineyard of Paganelli. Now the vines must be pruned to remove the upper part of American vine. And once the soil that covered the bud of Sangiovese is removed, the vine is ready to vegetate. We also put a stake on which the new seedling will be bound so as to make it grow straight. It is a great work that requires much precision and professionalism on behalf of our workers.
In ten years, this vineyard will begin to give Sangiovese of high quality that will help us to maintain the very high qualitative standard of our estate.
